Located in the Margie Schubert Library in room 306 of the Greystone main building, the Learning Strategies Center offers free tutoring, disability services, and mentoring.
Our peer tutors are students who have successfully completed CIA coursework and demonstrated proficiency in that class. LSC staff also provides help with time management, study techniques, note taking, test-taking strategies, and organizational skills.
Through the LCS at the CIA New York campus, we provide accommodations and support services for any disabled students. Support specialists are available to discuss specific needs in the classroom, kitchen, and residence hall.

After reviewing the documentation and interviewing the student, a disability support specialist will determine and recommend appropriate accommodations for each student鈥檚 course of study. The recommended accommodations will be communicated to the student and, with his or her consent, to the LCS administrator and the proper personnel at Greystone in order to best assist the student.
