CIAs accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and approval to operate in New York State include the online MPS program. CIA is authorized to offer its online MPS program through the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) to students outside of its home state of New York located in the following: all 48 other states excluding California; Puerto Rico; the U.S. Virgin Islands; and the District of Columbia. In the state of California, CIA is permitted to offer the online MPS program by the Board of Private Postsecondary Educations acceptance of CIAs Middle States accreditation.
